Meet Myra Krien
Myra Krien is a renowned dance artist, international performer, choreographer, and dance educator. She is known for her elegant and graceful presence as well as her stylistic versatility, from traditional Egyptian (folkloric and modern) Raks Sharqui to classical and contemporary fusion forms. Based in Santa Fe, NM, Krien directs her school of dance, Pomegranate Studios, Pomegranate SEEDs® (Self-esteem, Empowerment and Education through Dance) a non-profit youth mentorship program, and the esteemed Mosaic Dance Company. The 2019 recipient of the Santa Fe Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts, Krien has performed on some of America's most prestigious stages, toured internationally, performed for PBS and Japanese television, and been reviewed by national publications such as Dance Magazine.

Invaders of the Heart 2024: The Return is a multimedia dance theater production from renowned choreographer and director Myra Krien, featuring the Mosaic Dance Company, the Starbelly Dancers, Drake Von Trapp, and Kamrah. By exploring sacred symbols of rebirth, renewal, ecstasy, and our inextricable interconnectedness with the natural world, The Return looks to the past as a touchstone for examining our present and building our collective future. With prominent artist Michael’s Bergt paintings as a striking backdrop for the dance, this collaboration is both visually stunning and powerfully prescient for these times.
Persephone Transformable Women's Clothing features soft, comfortable designer fashions made for dance, yoga, and active workouts yet are stylish enough to be worn out on the town. Our clothing is also uniquely suited for travel wear since it packs well, and many pieces transform into multiple types of clothing.
Designed by renowned dancer, choreographer, and costume designer, Myra Krien, Persephone Clothing is made to flatter the feminine figure.
